This meeting included key government figures such as Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and various ministers responsible for industrial development, military production, local development, finance, housing, public business, and investment.

The spokesman for the Presidency highlighted that the meeting focused on the key components and phases of the national strategy, which aims to accelerate the growth of Egyptian industry.

This strategy seeks to optimize the use of domestic industrial resources, unleash the potential of both Egyptian and foreign private sectors, and elevate Egypt’s status as a regional and international industrial hub.

The goals include increasing the volume and value of commodity exports and bolstering the national economy, ultimately improving the living standards of citizens.

During the discussions, participants addressed the significant challenges and obstacles that have historically hindered the growth of the Egyptian industrial sector.

President El Sisi emphasized the priority of industry for the state, noting that while international and regional changes present challenges, they also provide opportunities to build a robust industrial foundation in Egypt.

He directed ongoing efforts to localize promising industries and transfer technology with the involvement of the private sector, enhancing its role and competitiveness in both local and international markets.

The importance of workforce training and skill enhancement was also underlined, along with the need to update the Egyptian industrial investment map to attract more investments across various industrial sectors.

Additionally, President El-Sisi called for examining the issues facing struggling factories and urged the exploration of innovative solutions to aid in their operation, thereby safeguarding investments and protecting workers’ rights.
