Egypt Daily News – President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi ratified Resolution No. 290 of 2024 regarding removing the public benefit status from public state property mentioned in Article Two of this decree.
The second article of the decree stipulates that: Ownership of the following properties shall be transferred, according to the attached coordinate and tables, to the benefit of the Ministry of Finance (the state’s general treasury), and shall be recorded in its books as money from its own funds.
In accordance with Article Three, the Prime Minister determines the aspects of disposal and investment purposes for which the lands, real estate, sites and facilities stipulated in Article Two of this decree are used, based on the proposal of the Minister of Finance after taking the opinion of the New Urban Communities Authority and in coordination with the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones to include those assets as investment opportunities on Egypt’s investment map.
