President Sisi pointed out that the amount spent exceeds 400 billion pounds on the establishment of advanced tertiary treatment plants such as Bahr al-Baqar, Al-Mahsama, and New Delta.

He explained that the state, while dealing with issues, does not rely on a single option, pointing to the attempt to utilize water that can be reused. The President pointed out that in the agricultural sector, approximately 45 billion cubic meters of water are consumed, emphasizing the work on a plan for modern agriculture, as well as a plan for advanced tertiary treatment.

It was noted that Egypt will be, in a few years, the first or second country in the world in water treatment.
