Egypt Daily News – The Russian army announced on Tuesday that Ukraine fired American long-range missiles at a military facility in the Bryansk border region, official media reported, in an attack that is the first of its kind since Washington authorized such strikes.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said, in a statement carried by official media agencies, “At 00:25 GMT, the enemy struck a site in the Bryansk region with six ballistic missiles. According to confirmed data, American-made ATACMS tactical missiles were used.”
She added that 5 of these missiles were shot down by S-400 and Pantsir air defense crews, while one missile was damaged, noting that fragments of these missiles fell on the technical grounds of a military facility in Bryansk province, causing a fire, and it was put it out immediately.
Russian Defense confirmed that the attack by Ukrainian forces on Bryansk province with ATACMS missiles did not result in casualties or material damage.
Earlier, Ukrainian media claimed that Kiev regime forces used “ATACMS” missiles for the first time to strike deep into Russia. Bloomberg reported earlier that Ukraine had already carried out the first attack with ATACMS missiles inside Russian territory, after the American green light for Ukraine to use long-range missiles.
