Egypt Daily News – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become the third Arab country to have the honor of organizing the largest tournament in the world of football, the World Cup, after being officially granted the honor of hosting the 2034 edition today, Wednesday.

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced this evening, Wednesday, that Saudi Arabia has been granted the right to host the 2034 World Cup, after a series of continuous successes achieved by the Kingdom over the past years.

FIFA had previously announced that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2034 World Cup received a rating of 419.8 out of 500, which is the highest technical rating given by the International Federation in history to a bid submitted to host the World Cup.

Saudi Arabia is preparing itself for the event with many historical stadiums, numbering 15, in addition to 134 training facilities, in addition to 230,000 hotel units distributed among the host and supporting cities.

The 2034 World Cup will be held with the participation of 48 teams in one country for the first time on Saudi soil, which will make it a historic and exceptional edition.
