Egypt Daily News – Today, Friday, Alexandria Governorate raised the degree of preparedness and emergency to the maximum level in all its executive agencies, to deal with a maritime warning of a disturbance in maritime navigation traffic starting today, Friday, until next Sunday, according to the forecasts of the General Meteorological Authority.
The General Meteorological Authority issued a special marine warning for the Mediterranean Sea, as forecasts indicate an increase in wind speeds from 40-60 km/hour, leading to disruption of maritime navigation and waves rising from 2 to 3.5 meters high.
The Alexandria Governorate and the northwestern coasts are witnessing a hot summer weather throughout the day, with high humidity levels that have increased citizens’ feelings of heat, and active winds across the Mediterranean Sea.
