Egypt Daily News – The US State Department announced a new aid package for Ukraine, worth $725 million and explained that the new aid package to Ukraine includes Stinger missiles, anti-drone systems, and various ammunition.
American aid to Ukraine
The United States was at the forefront of countries that provided support to Ukraine, and according to the official Pentagon website, Washington provided security assistance to Kiev worth more than $43 billion, since the start of the Russian “military operation” in Ukraine, on February 24, 2022.
It is noteworthy that US President-elect Donald Trump criticized the administration of outgoing US President Joe Biden’s spending of tens of billions of dollars to support Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian military operation in February 2022.
He promised to resolve this conflict “within 24 hours,” without explaining how, before reiterating his affirmation of “working very seriously regarding Russia and Ukraine because the war must stop.”
