Egypt Daily News – U.S. President Donald Trump issued a final warning to the leaders of Hamas, telling them, “This is the last warning, you must leave Gaza.” Trump demanded that Hamas leaders leave Gaza immediately and release the hostages, threatening them with severe consequences later.

Trump also told Hamas leaders: “You are sick,” and added, “The decision is still in your hands—for now.” Addressing the people of Gaza, the U.S. president said, “A beautiful future awaits you.”

Earlier, U.S. envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, expressed his interest in visiting the region.

Witkoff indicated that until this visit takes place, Israel must maintain the ceasefire, despite Hamas’s refusal to release the hostages, according to Yedioth Ahronoth. Meanwhile, an Israeli source familiar with the details stated that Hamas is showing no flexibility in the negotiations.

No place for Hamas
It is worth noting that U.S. President Donald Trump’s envoy has repeatedly emphasized that there is no place for Hamas, whether in Gaza or the occupied West Bank.

“Committed to buying Gaza”

Meanwhile, President Trump stated last month that he is committed to “buying and owning Gaza,” indicating that he might give parts of the coastal enclave to other Middle Eastern countries to assist in reconstruction efforts—without specifying which countries he had in mind.

He also claimed that he would transform Gaza into “a prime site for future development.” The U.S. president had repeatedly spoken about seizing the Gaza Strip and relocating Palestinians to neighboring countries, including Egypt and Jordan, despite opposition from both nations.

He also suggested transforming Gaza into “the Riviera of the Middle East,” inhabited by citizens from all over the world.
