In his message, the Grand Imam expressed his sincere wishes for the Pope’s success in fulfilling his spiritual and humanitarian duties.
He affirmed Al-Azhar’s anticipation of continuing joint efforts with the Vatican under the new Pope’s leadership to strengthen interfaith dialogue, reinforce the values of human fraternity, and promote a culture of peace and coexistence among nations—efforts that contribute to building a more stable and hopeful future for all humanity.
