Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama has officially resumed his artistic activities in Egypt following the resolution of a recent dispute with the Egyptian Musicians’ Syndicate. After undergoing a formal investigation by the union, Alama appeared at a press conference held at the syndicate’s headquarters, attended by journalists and media representatives.

With the matter now settled, Alama is back in Cairo and has begun recording new songs in collaboration with Egyptian music arranger Amr El-Khodary. The two are working together at a Cairo studio on what they described as a fresh musical project aimed at both Egyptian and Arab audiences.

Speaking to the press, El-Khodary expressed his enthusiasm about working with the veteran singer, saying, “The great star Ragheb Alama honored me today. We are collaborating on some truly special tracks, and we hope the audience will love them.”

For his part, Ragheb Alama conveyed deep appreciation for Egypt and the Musicians’ Syndicate, stressing his respect for the organization’s role in safeguarding professional standards in the industry. “Egypt is the land of art and the Hollywood of the East,” Alama said, reaffirming his longstanding connection with the Egyptian audience and cultural scene.

The singer’s return marks a new chapter in his relationship with Egypt’s music industry, and his fans are eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming songs, which are expected to reflect a blend of his signature style and contemporary Egyptian musical influences.
