Israel has received a large shipment of military equipment and ammunition weighing around 6,500 tons within a 24-hour period, according to the country’s Ministry of Defense, in one of the largest recent resupply operations reported during ongoing regional tensions.

The shipment, which arrived via both sea and air, included air and ground munitions as well as a wide range of military hardware. Israeli defense officials said the deliveries were coordinated through procurement missions in the United States, alongside international defense transport units and logistics branches within the Israeli military.

The cargo was offloaded at the ports of Ashdod and Haifa before being transferred to military bases across the country. The scale and speed of the operation highlight sustained external military support as Israel continues to operate in a multi-front security environment.

The arrival of the supplies coincided with renewed security incidents in northern Israel, where the military reported that a drone launched from Hezbollah territory struck a military vehicle near the border area close to Shomera.

According to Israeli military statements, the strike injured at least 12 soldiers. Two were reported to be in moderate condition, while the remaining personnel sustained light injuries. Emergency services responded to the scene, where images showed a military vehicle engulfed in flames and thick smoke rising from the impact site.

The Israeli army described the incident as part of ongoing cross-border attacks originating from southern Lebanon, where tensions have remained elevated amid continued exchanges between Israeli forces and Hezbollah positions.

The drone strike and the large-scale resupply operation underscore the dual reality facing Israel’s military establishment: sustained external logistical reinforcement on one hand, and persistent active combat pressure along its northern frontier on the other.

With military shipments continuing to arrive at scale and border incidents persisting, the regional security environment shows no signs of stabilizing, as multiple fronts remain active and interconnected.
