Abdelatty highlighted Egypt’s active mediation efforts to enforce the comprehensive peace framework drafted by United States President Donald Trump to halt the Gaza conflict.
Cairo urged international bodies to build upon recent progress regarding a unified Palestinian consensus to systematically audit factional weapons. The state maintained that this domestic demilitarization must execute simultaneously with a complete, verifiable withdrawal of all Israeli forces from the strip.
Sovereign Borders Remain Firm Against Forced Displacement Tactics and Unilateral Annexation
Abdelatty reiterated Egypt’s absolute and unalterable opposition to any tactical maneuvers designed to displace the Palestinian population from Gaza or the West Bank. The foreign minister clarified that Cairo will completely block any unilateral legislative measures aimed at executing territorial annexation under any pretext.
The top diplomat called on global powers to establish an independent Palestinian state along the historical June 4, 1967 borders. The state brief concluded by endorsing the ongoing structural reforms undertaken by the Palestinian Authority, verifying its central role in leading post-conflict governance.
