Egypt Daily News – Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, recently conducted an inspection of a training phase for a tactical drill being implemented by a unit of the Third Field Army, as part of the Armed Forces’ overall combat training plan.

Major General A.H. Hisham Shendi, Commander of the Third Field Army, delivered a speech highlighting the dedication of the soldiers to maintain their weapons and equipment, emphasizing their commitment to achieving high levels of combat efficiency to effectively fulfill their assigned tasks.

The training stage commenced with a presentation focused on topographical and tactical guidance. During his visit to the training areas, Lieutenant General Khalifa received detailed briefings on the various stages of administrative and technical preparations tailored to different specializations.

These preparations are designed to optimize the training benefits for individual combatants.

Lieutenant General Khalifa underscored the commitment of the General Command of the Armed Forces to advance the combat training system, ensuring it aligns with modern scientific methodologies. This approach aims to enhance realism and professionalism within training exercises.

He engaged in discussions with several commanders and officers about their operational methods, emphasizing the importance of considering the administrative and living conditions of the soldiers.
