Egypt Daily News – The BRICS group, which includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and recently added Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iran, and Ethiopia, has showcased significant economic relations with Egypt in 2024.

  • Total Trade Volume:
    • In the first eight months of 2024, trade between Egypt and BRICS countries reached $30.2 billion, a 15% increase from $26.2 billion during the same period in 2023.
  • Egyptian Exports:
    • Exports to BRICS countries amounted to $5.7 billion in 2024, up 7.3% from $5.3 billion in 2023.
