Egypt Daily News – The foreign ministers of Egypt and four Arab countries that met Saturday in Cairo and confirmed their refusal to “displace” the Palestinians from their land or “encourage their transfer”, expressing their hope to work with the Donald Trump administration “in order to implement the two -state solution.

The ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Jordan stressed in their closing statement to “refuse to prejudice” the rights of the Palestinians “through settlement activities, expulsion and the demolition of homes, or the inclusion of the land”, or through “displacement or encouraging the transportation or uprooting of the Palestinians from their land in any way or under any circumstances and justifications.

They said that their countries “are looking to work with the administration of US President Donald Trump to achieve a fair and comprehensive peace in the Middle East, according to the two -state solution.”

According to an official statement issued on Saturday, the parties participating in the meeting agreed on points, most notably:

  • Welcome to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and the exchange of hostages and detainees and looking forward to working with the administration of US President Donald Trump to achieve a fair and comprehensive peace in the Middle East, according to the two -state solution, and work to evacuate the region from conflicts.
  • Emphasizing support for efforts to ensure the withdrawal of the Israeli forces completely and the complete rejection of any attempts to divide the Gaza Strip, and work to enable the Palestinian Authority to take over its duties in the Gaza Strip as part of the occupied Palestinian land alongside the West Bank and East Jerusalem, and allowing the international community to address the humanitarian catastrophe that is presented in the sector because of the Israeli aggression.
  • Emphasizing the indispensable and non -replacement role of the UNRWA refugee agency, and the categorical rejection of any attempts to overcome it or limit its role.
  • Emphasizing in this regard the importance of the concerted efforts of the international community to plan and implement a comprehensive process for reconstruction in the Gaza Strip, as soon as possible, and in a way that ensures that the Palestinians remain on their land.
  • Expressing the continuation of full support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land and their adherence to their legitimate rights in accordance with international law, and to confirm the rejection of prejudice to these incurable rights, whether through settlement activities, or the demolition of homes, or the inclusion of the land, or by evacuating that land from their owners through the displacement, or encourage the transfer or uprooting of the Palestinians from their land in any form of images or under any circumstances and justifications, threatening stability and warning of more struggle to the region, and undermines the opportunities for peace and coexistence between their peoples.
  • Welcoming the intention of Egypt in cooperation with the United Nations, to host an international conference for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, at the appropriate time, and the appeal of the international community and the donors to contribute to this effort.
  • The international community appeals in this regard, especially the international and regional powers, and the United Nations Security Council, in order to start the actual implementation of the two -state solution.
