Egypt Daily News – The first football team of Al-Ahly is preparing to participate in the 2025 Club World Cup, which is set to take place in the United States.
The tournament is scheduled to begin on June 15, 2025, with Al-Ahly facing Inter Miami (the host team) at “Hard Rock” Stadium. The match will feature Argentine star Lionel Messi, the captain of the American team.
According to previous press reports, the teams participating in the Club World Cup will receive $50 million for their participation.
Financial Revenues for Clubs in the 2025 Club World Cup
The Italian website “Calcio e Finanza” revealed the potential financial revenues for teams participating in the 2025 Club World Cup.
The report indicated that the European Club Association had reached an agreement with FIFA for the participating teams to receive financial rewards ranging from 15 to 18 million euros.
If a team advances to the Round of 16 of the 2025 Club World Cup, the financial rewards increase to 25 million euros.
Additionally, the rewards will continue to rise for teams progressing to later stages, though the exact figures have not been disclosed.
