A sad farewell as Safaga mourns diving coach victim of the “Sea Story” sinking

Egypt Daily News – Hundreds of Safaga residents mourned diving instructor Alaa Hussein Mohamed Bahgat, who lost his life during the sinking of the “Sea Story”, which was on a diving safari near Marsa Alam, south of the Red Sea Governorate.

People held funeral prayers for the deceased in the Al-Hussein bin Ali Mosque in the city of Safaga, amid a state of sadness and grief over his death on the ill-fated boat.

Social media pages turned into a condolence book, following the death of the deceased, who was known among the people of Safaga for his love of charitable work and sincerity.

Yesterday, Tuesday, Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, announced the rescue of 33 passengers on the boat, while only 4 bodies were recovered, bringing the total number of those who were pulled out of the water to 37 people alive, and search operations are still continuing to find 7 others. Others missing.
