Egypt Daily News – After defeating cancer, the famous American actor Val Kilmer was taken by pneumonia. Kilmer, known for his roles in “Batman Forever” and “The Doors,” passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 65 late Tuesday evening.
His daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, explained that the cause of death was pneumonia. He had been diagnosed with throat cancer in 2014 but later recovered from it, according to The New York Times.

Kilmer, the handsome and tall actor, made his debut in the 1984 Cold War satire “Top Secret!” where he played an American pop singer who finds himself unintentionally involved in an East German conspiracy to reunify the country.
Despite being single at the time of his death, Kilmer was one of the 1980s’ biggest Hollywood heartthrobs who certainly had his choice of the industry’s most beautiful women.
The admission, in a tell-all memoir I’m Your Huckleberry, would have come as a surprise to anyone familiar with Kilmer’s star-studded dating life from the 1980s to the 2000s.

His fame grew further after starring alongside Tom Cruise in the successful 1986 film “Top Gun.”

He also gave a brilliant performance in Oliver Stone’s 1991 film “The Doors,” where he portrayed the legendary singer Jim Morrison.
However, the California-born actor, who was one of Hollywood’s biggest stars in the 1990s, later became involved in numerous disputes with directors and other actors, leading to a series of failures that negatively impacted his career.
