Egypt Daily News – Counselor Mohamed Al-Homsani, spokesman for the Egyptian Cabinet, shed light on the meeting between Dr. Mustafa Madbouly and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
He clarified, in a telephone conversation with the journalist Ahmed Moussa, that the session discussed ways of joint cooperation between the two sides in various economic and investment fields, demonstrating a real desire to enhance the terms of trade
Al-Homsani indicated that the two sides stressed the desire to enhance joint cooperation in a number of areas and look forward to making rapid progress on the ground during the coming period.
He explained that there are many areas on the northwest coast suitable for real estate investment, however things will be announced as soon as all its details are finalized and stressed that the Qatari side expressed its desire for investment opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sector in the North Coast region, as well as investment cooperation in the ports sector and logistics areas.
Al-Homsani pointed out that a small committee will be formed to discuss ways of cooperation between Egypt and Qatar, and we expect that there will be a large financial number from Qatari investments that reflects the boom that has taken place in Egypt over the past years.
