Diaa Rashwan: The Egyptian warning to Israel comes as a result of the political leadership’s awareness of the seriousness of the matter

Egypt Daily News - Dr. Diaa Rashwan, head of the Egyptian Information Service (SIS) , said that Egypt had not warned Israel before, and this expression had not been issued for perhaps four decades, but this time because the political leadership was aware of the seriousness of the matter, whether for the brothers in Gaza, the Palestinian issue, or regional stability.

Rashwan added, during an intervention on Cairo News Channel, that President Sisi selected his words at least 3 times during the past two weeks and in public meetings and with senior officials, perhaps the most extensive of which was the meeting with representatives of the European Union.

He continued: “There are real risks, and the United States of America is now called upon to become more aware of these risks that it knows, but this crazy wheel of violence, which we saw some signs of expanding in what happened between Iran and Israel, must be stopped.”
