Israeli army calls up two reserve brigades for Gaza

EgyptDailyNews - The Israeli army has called up to recruit two reserve brigades for Gaza. A statement by the IDF spokesman said "“Their calling will allow the continuous effort and readiness to defend the State of Israel and the security of civilians”.

The war in Gaza is now in it's sixth month and facing anticipation, whether or not the IDF will invade Rafah, the last refuge to 1.5 million Palestinian refugees. Needless to say that the IDF hasn't yet allowed Palestinian civilians back to northern Gaza. Should the IDF invade Rafah, Palestinians would very limited options, either storm the Egyptian border or drown in the Mediterranean.

Peace talks have been elusive with neither side willing to agree on the terms of the other.
