Egypt Daily News – Dr. Diaa Rashwan, a member of the founding body of the National Front Party, said that the party does not aspire to rule tomorrow, but it may be the day after tomorrow, because if the first scenario occurs, it means that it is jumping with a parachute.

He added that the party stands in a reserved space between the loyalists and the opposition, explaining that it will defend or attack according to what it sees fit.

He pointed out that the party will be keen to direct criticism, but this must be accompanied by presenting the alternative idea, pointing out that the party will seek to form a multiple front.

Rashwan noted that the party aims to have a broader coalition to achieve a shift in political life.

He pointed out that the problems of political life since 1952 require time to be fixed, stressing that the current period is witnessing a reform of the political process. He also clarified that the party does not seek to form a government in the coming short period, saying that when the party is in Parliament while the existing government is not the party’s government, it has the right to say yes or no to the government.
