Egypt Daily News – Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the systematic targeting of infrastructure inside Syrian territory, and the deliberate bombing and destruction of many sites, bases, weapons, equipment and military systems throughout Syria, in addition to the Israeli army establishing its illegal presence and expanding the scope of its control in the lands it occupied deep inside Syria.
Egypt renews its complete rejection of Israel exploiting the internal preoccupation with Syria and the state of liquidity and vacuum it is witnessing, to undermine the state’s capabilities and occupy Syrian lands.
Egypt considers these Israeli attacks on Syria as a further systematic violation of international law and an insistence on a policy of arrogance in the region.
Egypt warns of the dire risks expected from irresponsible Israeli policies, and calls on the Security Council, the international community, and internationally active forces to assume their responsibility in stopping this dangerous Israeli escalation in Syria, and to respect the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of Syria.
