Egypt Daily News – General Abdel Majeed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, met with Prabowo Subianto, Indonesia’s Minister of Defense, and his accompanying delegation during their official visit to Egypt.
The meeting began with a formal reception at the Ministry of Defense headquarters, where both national anthems were played by the military band in honor of the visiting delegation.

During the talks, the two ministers discussed several topics of mutual interest and explored ways to strengthen military cooperation across a range of areas.
General Saqr expressed his appreciation for the strong ties between the Egyptian and Indonesian armed forces, emphasizing the importance of coordinating efforts and expanding avenues of military collaboration to serve the shared interests of both nations.
For his part, the Indonesian Defense Minister affirmed his country’s commitment to enhancing military relations and exchanging expertise with Egypt across various defense fields in the coming period.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, along with several senior military officials from both countries, as well as the Indonesian Ambassador and Military Attaché in Cairo.
