Egypt’s agricultural exports rise to 6.7 million tons, an increase of 932 million dollars

Egypt Daily News – Alaa Farouk, the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, announced the total agricultural exports from January 1, 2024, to October 2 of the current year, which amounted to 6,757,169 tons with an average dollar value of 3 billion, 952 million, 943 thousand, and 865, an increase of 932 million, 700 thousand, and 409 dollars compared to the same period last year.

This is according to a report received by the Minister of Agriculture from Dr. Mohamed El-Mansy, head of the Egyptian Agricultural Quarantine, which indicated that the most important agricultural exports are citrus fruits, potatoes, onions, grapes, beans, sweet potatoes, mangoes, tomatoes, garlic, strawberries, guavas, and pomegranates.

The report indicated that Egyptian agricultural products are in increasing demand from all over the world due to their high quality, adding that Egypt exports more than 350 goods to around 160 global markets, including the largest markets in Europe, America, China, Japan, and most Arab and African countries.
