Egypt’s Defense Minister calls on his forces to be prepared and ready to protect the country’s borders

Egypt Daily News – Lieutenant General Abdel Majeed Saqr, Egyptian Minister of Defense, stressed on Sunday the importance of maintaining the highest levels of readiness to protect the country’s borders on all strategic directions.

He added, during his meeting with a number of commanders of officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces in the Northern Military Region and the Naval Forces Command, that the Armed Forces are the Egyptian people’s protective shield and sword against anyone who dares to harm the sanctity of the homeland and the integrity of its lands, stressing that the General Command of the Armed Forces does not hesitate to provide Continuous support for all units and formations of the armed forces to always be at the highest levels of efficiency and high combat readiness.

The highest levels of alertness and combat readiness
Major General Hisham Hosni, Commander of the Northern Military Region, gave a speech in which he stressed the keenness of the men of the region to raise the skill and physical level through continuous training and high morale, so that they are always at the highest levels of alertness and combat readiness to carry out any tasks assigned to them, in addition to their participation in supporting civil society and providing A decent life for the Egyptian people, in cooperation with all executive agencies and concerned authorities in the state.

لإhe Minister of Defense also undertook an inspection tour within the naval forces, during which he listened to an explanation from Lieutenant General Ashraf Atwa, Commander of the Naval Forces, about the naval units that have recently joined, and the units that are manufactured with the own capabilities of the naval arsenal and with Egyptian hands and are considered a tremendous technological addition to the capabilities and capabilities of the naval forces. It contributes to achieving complete control over the country’s coasts extending to the Red Sea and the Mediterranean.
