Egypt Daily News – Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdel Aaty stated that his meeting with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi in Cairo today carefully addressed regional and international developments marked by instability, uncertainty, and growing polarization on the global stage. He noted that Egypt and Oman agreed to strengthen cooperation and joint consultations, given the alignment of their positions and goals.

In a joint press conference, Abdel Aaty emphasized that Egypt and Oman share a unified vision to de-escalate tensions in the region and to contain conflicts through political and peaceful solutions. He stressed their mutual rejection of military solutions to the crises affecting the region and the world.

Abdel Aaty affirmed the deep connection between the security of Oman and the Gulf and that of Egypt, stressing that Egypt’s security is inseparable from that of the Gulf countries.

Both Egypt and Oman reaffirmed that the Palestinian cause remains at the heart of the region’s conflict, expressing total rejection of all displacement plans and the ongoing daily crimes committed against the Palestinian people.

The minister strongly condemned the brutal aggression against Gaza and the West Bank, denouncing what he described as a “systematic starvation policy” targeting Palestinians. He held Israel fully responsible as the occupying power.
