Egypt Daily News – We provide you with live coverage from the plains of Arafat, where millions of pilgrims are performing the most important rite of Hajj in a solemn and spiritual atmosphere, supported by comprehensive services and high-level health and security care provided by the relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia.
Standing at Arafat is considered the central pillar of Hajj, as the Prophet ﷺ said, “Hajj is Arafah.” It begins at noon and lasts until sunset, after which pilgrims head to Muzdalifah. Today, the Arafat site recorded the highest temperature of 45°C at 3:00 PM, under sunny and hot conditions.
Wind speeds reached 16 kilometers per hour, coming from the southwest to south, which helped slightly ease the heat. Meanwhile, the concerned authorities remained fully prepared to provide cooling and protective measures for the pilgrims.
