Nabih Berri calls for measures against Israel for violating the ceasefire

Egypt Daily News – Today, Monday, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, called for measures to be taken against Israel due to what he described as 54 violations of the ceasefire, pointing to the aggressive actions carried out by the Israeli army on the Lebanese border.

Berri: Israel continues its aggression against Lebanon with air strikes and house demolitions
Berri said, in statements via social media accounts, that Israel continues its aggression operations by demolishing homes in Lebanese border villages and continuing air raids deep into Lebanon, adding that these raids resulted in martyrs and wounded among Lebanese civilians.

54 Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement
Berri added that these Israeli actions represent a clear violation of the terms of the ceasefire agreement that was reached, noting that the technical committee responsible for monitoring the implementation of the agreement recorded more than 54 violations by the Israeli army.

Diplomats: Israel committed 52 violations of the ceasefire agreement
At the same time, French diplomatic sources confirmed that Israel committed 52 violations of the ceasefire agreement, explaining that these violations are in addition to violations monitored by the United Nations and relevant international organizations.

Israel denies the accusations and confirms its commitment to the terms of the agreement
For its part, Israel denied these accusations and confirmed that it is adhering to the terms of the ceasefire, indicating that what it is doing is a response to Hezbollah’s violations. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said, in a phone call with his French counterpart, that Israel is taking immediate measures to confront what he described. Hezbollah’s violations, pointing out that the party’s members were seen armed south of the Litani River.
