Egypt Daily News – In today’s government meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly in New Alamein, a variety of significant issues were discussed, particularly in relation to Egypt’s economic reform program.

The Prime Minister highlighted the approval of the third review from the International Monetary Fund, emphasizing its role as a vote of confidence in the government’s economic strategy and ongoing reforms. He reported positive budget performance indicators from the previous fiscal year and expressed optimism about the current fiscal year’s ambitious targets despite external economic pressures.

During the meeting, Dr. Madbouly addressed critical updates regarding the energy sector, particularly efforts to manage electricity loads during the summer months as directed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He assured that this matter remains a top priority for the government, with ongoing coordination among relevant ministries and agencies.

Additionally, the Prime Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to monitoring market stability by ensuring the availability of goods and controlling prices to help reduce inflation.

He also mentioned his recent inspection tour in New Alamein City, where he assessed the progress of various projects and encouraged continued field visits by officials to address challenges effectively.

The meeting reflected the government’s proactive approach to economic management and social responsiveness in addressing public concerns.
