President El-Sisi attends the opening of the 25th Military World Equestrian Championship in the New Administrative Capital

Egypt Daily News – President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated the 25th edition of the Military World Show Jumping Championship, held under his patronage and in his presence. The event is hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt from May 5 to 8.

The championship is taking place at the Kayan Equestrian Club, part of the Egyptian Military Academy, located in the New Administrative Capital. It features participation from 20 countries from around the world.

President El-Sisi attended the opening ceremony of the championship, which marks the 25th edition of this international military equestrian event.

The participating countries include: Egypt, Bahrain, Brazil, Ecuador, Estonia, France, Hungary, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.

President El-Sisi receives the sash of the International Military Sports Council

Colonel Nilton Gomes, President of the International Military Sports Council, presented the sash of the Council to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during the opening of the 25th Military World Equestrian Championship in the New Administrative Capital.

The sash is the highest honor awarded by the International Military Sports Council. It is presented to heads of state in recognition of the council’s appreciation for the significant sports infrastructure development that has positioned Egypt as a regional and international hub for major championships.
