President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, upon his arrival at Alamein Airport on Monday evening. The visit, described as fraternal and extending over several days, underscores the enduring strength of the historic relationship between Egypt and the UAE.

According to an official statement from the Egyptian Presidency, President El-Sisi warmly welcomed Sheikh Mohamed, whom he described as a dear guest of his second home, Egypt. The Egyptian leader emphasized the deep respect and special place Sheikh Mohamed holds in the hearts of the Egyptian people, an extension of the legacy built by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE, whose strong ties with Egypt have long been a foundation of bilateral relations.

The spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, noted that Sheikh Mohamed expressed his deep appreciation to President El-Sisi for the warm welcome and generous hospitality. He praised the deep-rooted, brotherly relations between the two nations, highlighting the historical bonds that unite their leadership and peoples.

The visit is expected to include discussions on regional developments, economic cooperation, and strategic coordination between Cairo and Abu Dhabi, reflecting the mutual commitment to stability and prosperity in the Arab world.
