Egypt Daily News – President Sisi received a phone call from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency, stated that the two leaders exchanged congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
The Turkish president expressed his sincere wishes for continued stability and progress for Egypt, its leadership, and its people.
President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries to end the “genocide” in the Gaza Strip.
The Turkish presidency stated in a statement on Saturday that “President Erdoğan, during his call with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, emphasized the importance of coordination between Turkey and Egypt on regional issues and stressed the significance of cooperation between Turkey and Egypt to end the genocide in Gaza.”
President Sisi expressed his sincere wishes that God Almighty would bring this occasion back to both countries and to the entire Muslim nation with goodness, blessings, and prosperity.
