Egypt Daily News – Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed his constant keenness to communicate and coordinate with President Sisi, praising Egypt’s pivotal role in reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, and expressing his country’s appreciation for Egypt’s constant efforts to maintain the stability of the region and the security and safety of its countries, and to support economic relations with Egypt.
This came during the phone call that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received today from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Presidential spokesman explained that the two leaders also discussed the situation in Syria, where the president stressed Egypt’s keenness to preserve Syria’s unity, territorial integrity, and the security of its people, as well as the necessity of uniting regional and international efforts to restore stability in Syria.
The call also discussed developments in Lebanon, efforts to restore stability in Sudan and Libya, and developments in the ongoing war in Ukraine.
