Russian Defense Ministry reveals Ukraine’s terrible losses on the Kursk axis

Egypt Daily News – The Russian Defense Ministry reported significant losses for the Ukrainian army in the ongoing conflict, particularly on the Kursk axis.

Over the last day, Ukrainian forces reportedly lost 280 soldiers and 27 armored vehicles, contributing to a total of about 945 soldiers and 102 armored vehicles since hostilities began on this front.

The Ministry’s statement emphasized that Russian forces continue to successfully repel Ukrainian attempts to penetrate Russian territory.

They noted that units from the “North” forces group, along with reserve troops, effectively utilized air and artillery support to thwart incursions by Ukrainian units.

Specific locations targeted by Russian operations included the towns of Darino, Gogolevka, Milovoy, Nikolsky, and areas near Sodja.

Additionally, air strikes claimed to have destroyed five Stryker armored personnel carriers and attacked a convoy comprising a tank, four armored personnel carriers, and a Kozak armored combat vehicle in Martynovka.

Furthermore, air and missile strikes were directed at Ukrainian reserve forces in the Sumy district, with detailed accounts of losses incurred.

The Russian statement detailed that in the previous day, the losses included four tanks, five armored personnel carriers, and numerous other military assets, bringing the cumulative losses for Ukraine on the Kursk axis to a notable figure since the start of the conflict.

The situation highlights the ongoing and intense nature of the conflict, with both sides continuing to engage in military operations marked by heavy casualties and equipment losses.
