Egypt Daily News – US President Donald Trump revealed today, Monday, that he had contacted Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, in their first conversation after the start of the decision to raise customs duties.
Trump, on the “Truth Suchl” platform, said he would talk to Trudeau again today at 3 pm. The US President announced the imposition of customs duties on Canada, Mexico and China, according to what the White House announced on Saturday.

Under the decision, Washington imposed 25 percent fees on imported products from Canada and Mexico, with 10 percent on Canadian energy resources.
In his post on “Truth”, Trump returned to criticize Canada and Mexico, justifying his decision to raise customs duties on their goods. “Canada does not even allow American banks to open branches or do business there. Why is this all?”
“But it is also a drug war, and hundreds of thousands of people have died in the United States due to the flow of drugs across the borders of Mexico and Canada,” he added.
