Egypt Daily News – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly in a follow up meeting on the ongoing preparations for the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum pointed out that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi had approved setting the Grand Opening date for July 3. The major event, eagerly awaited by the entire world, is scheduled to extend over several days.
Madbouly explained that several ministries and authorities have been assigned specific tasks, which will be regularly monitored to ensure that the grand opening is organized in the best possible manner. This will help promote Egypt, its tourist destinations, and the achievements made in recent years.
During the meeting, Mohamed Saadi reviewed the proposed agenda for the Grand Egyptian Museum’s Grand Opening, covering everything from the invitation format for kings, presidents, and high-ranking officials to the various proposed segments of the event.
Additionally, the meeting discussed the responsibilities assigned to each ministry and governorate, as well as the necessary facilitation of procedures related to the arrival and departure of guests, along with other logistical matters essential for the event’s success.
Ministers, governors, and all officials present affirmed their full support for ensuring the success of the event. They pledged to overcome any obstacles and provide all necessary facilitation to those organizing the celebration.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for top-level preparations, from airports and hotels to roads and the event venue itself. He stated, “It is very important for the country to appear in its most magnificent form.”
