Egypt Daily News – US President Donald Trump said that the United States “will not tolerate” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s alleged refusal to end the war with Russia, clarifying that his hostility toward the Ukrainian leader remains after the Oval Office altercation on Friday.

Trump wrote on “Truth Social”: “This is the worst statement Zelensky could make, and America will not tolerate it for much longer!” citing a headline from the American news agency “Associated Press,” which quoted Zelensky over the weekend as saying that the end of the war “is still very far away.”

Trump added: “This is what I have been saying—this man does not want peace as long as he has America’s support. And the Europeans, in their meeting with Zelensky, explicitly stated that they cannot do the job without the United States—perhaps not a great statement to make in terms of showing strength against Russia. What are they thinking?”

U.S. officials continued their sharp criticism of Zelensky three days after the Oval Office dispute. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said earlier on Monday that Zelensky needs to express his regret before talks resume on a rare earth metals deal.
