Egypt Daily News – The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has issued a strongly worded warning about the worsening situation in the Gaza Strip, stating that “bombs are falling on tents, and people are being killed while trying to feed themselves and their families” a clear indication of the direct targeting of shelters and aid distribution centers.

OCHA added that humanitarian aid workers themselves are now suffering from hunger and are unable to carry out their duties, warning that what is happening must not be allowed to become the “new normal” amid ongoing international silence.

Imminent Collapse of Gaza’s Health Sector
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that continued attacks on healthcare facilities and the surroundings of hospitals are exacerbating pressure on Gaza’s already overwhelmed healthcare system, which can no longer meet the massive needs resulting from the ongoing assault.
In its statement, the WHO renewed its call for the protection of civilians and medical teams, urging the international community to take concrete steps to safeguard healthcare facilities and to provide secure humanitarian corridors.

Trump: Ceasefire Expected Within Days
In related political developments, Israel’s Channel 12 reported that former U.S. President Donald Trump stated he expects a ceasefire in Gaza “within the coming week,” pointing to intensified U.S. efforts to bring the war to an end.
While no further details have been released about the potential agreement, Trump’s remarks come amid growing international warnings of an impending humanitarian catastrophe threatening the lives of millions of Palestinians trapped in the Gaza Strip.
