Egypt Daily News – Al-Ahly Club refused to pay $600,000, the remaining amount of Percy Tau’s contract, to leave the club next January, in order to sign a foreign striker during the upcoming winter transfer period.
Al-Ahly offered the player the idea of leaving in January if he had an external offer, and receiving the full financial compensation.
Al-Ahly officials intend to hold a meeting with Percy Tau to reach a solution to this matter. If Percy Tau refuses to leave, he will remain in Al-Ahly until his contract with the team expires.
There is another proposal to loan Reda Slim, in light of the player’s initial agreement to leave next January, so that the club can sign a foreign striker during the winter transfers.
