Egypt Daily News – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms Egypt’s adherence to the constants and determinants of the political settlement of the Palestinian issue, stressing that it remains the pivotal issue in the Middle East, and that the delay in settling it, and in ending the occupation and restoring the stolen rights of the Palestinian people, is the basis of instability in the region.
Egypt continues to support the Palestinian people on their land and their adherence to their legitimate rights in their land and country, and the principles of international law and international humanitarian law.
It also emphasizes its rejection of any prejudice to these inappropriate rights, whether through settlement or the inclusion of the land, or by evacuating that land from its owners through displacement or encouraging the transfer or uprooting of the Palestinians from their land, whether it is temporary or long -term, and by threatening stability and warns of more conflict extension to the region, and undermine the opportunities of peace and coexistence between their peoples.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on the international community to work to start the actual implementation of the two -state solution, including the embodiment of the Palestinian state over its entire national soil and in the context of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, and on the lines of June of the year 1967.
