Egypt Daily News – The recent visit of the Saudi Foreign Minister to Cairo signifies the strong ties between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, as highlighted by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdel Aty.

In a joint press conference, Abdel Aty announced that both nations are nearing the establishment of a Supreme Coordination Council, which will be co-chaired by President Sisi and the Saudi Crown Prince.

Abdel Aty also addressed the ongoing conflict in Gaza, emphasizing the urgent need to halt Israeli aggression against Palestinians.

He stressed the importance of reaching a ceasefire agreement and achieving a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.

The minister appealed to the international community for a fair resolution, advocating for the establishment of a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders. He underscored that regional security and stability cannot be achieved through escalating conflicts.
