Egypt Daily News – Al-Homsani, spokesman for the Egyptian Cabinet, said that the Paris Airports Company (which submitted an offer within an Egyptian-French alliance regarding the management and operation of some airports) has cooperation programs with Arab countries such as Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

He added, that the company operates airports in 18 countries around the world, additionally that there are Arab countries that began some time ago to create partnerships with the private sector to manage airports, which led to improving service there as everyone testified, and a qualitative leap was achieved.

He said Egypt is not the first country to enter into partnerships of this kind, but there are Arab countries that have preceded in this field, stressing the state’s keenness to quickly develop public facilities, including airports, which leads to engaging in these partnerships.

He explained that the Paris Airports Company had cooperated with Egypt previously, in the field of civil aviation and in a number of airports, and this is not new to Egypt.
