Egypt Daily News – The President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, announced the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement with Ukraine, describing the step as a “qualitative leap” in the economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan wrote on his account on the platform X (formerly Twitter): “I discussed with His Excellency Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, during our meeting today in Abu Dhabi, joint efforts to enhance our developmental relations.”

The President of the UAE continued, saying: “We witnessed the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, which represents a qualitative leap in the path of economic, trade, and investment cooperation for the mutual development of both countries.”

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed concluded by saying: “The UAE’s approach is one of cooperation and building bridges of understanding to achieve peace and development for all, working for the happiness and prosperity of humanity.”

It is scheduled that both U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a “Peace Summit” in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, in the coming days with the aim of ending the war in Ukraine, a summit that Zelensky has confirmed he will not participate in.
