Egypt Daily News – The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Kiev’s use of missiles by the United States and its followers (France and the UK) to launch attacks on Russian territory will be considered direct interference by Washington in combat operations against the Russian army.

It added in a statement on the ministry’s website: “Kiev’s use of long-range missiles to attack our territory will mean the direct participation of the United States and its followers (France and the UK) in hostilities against Russia, as well as a radical change in the essence and nature of the conflict.

In this case, Russia’s response will be appropriate and tangible.”

Zakharova indicated that it is not yet known whether this information is based on official sources, but one thing is clear: against the backdrop of the defeats of the Kiev regime, its Western sponsors are betting on the maximum escalation of the hybrid war launched against Russia, in an attempt to achieve an imaginary goal, which is “Inflicting a strategic defeat on Moscow.”

It pointed out, “However, there is no miracle weapon that Zelensky and his followers pray for that is capable of influencing the course of the special military operation.” The New York Times reported on Sunday evening that US President Joe Biden allowed Kiev forces to launch strikes using long-range ATACMS missiles on the territory of the Russian Federation.

According to the newspaper, Biden’s move is linked to information about the alleged presence of North Korean forces in Kursk Province. The newspaper confirms that this “led to the need to strengthen the defense of the Ukrainian army.”

Later, the newspaper “Le Figaro” reported that France and Britain allowed Kiev to launch strikes using long-range “Storm Shadow/Scalp” missiles deep into Russian territory.

Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously confirmed, commenting on the possibility of Western permission being issued to the Kiev regime to strike with long-range weapons deep into Russian territory, that this scenario would mean a direct entry of NATO into the conflict, and indicated that Moscow would make its decisions based on the threats that appear.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also said that talk about Ukrainian forces bombing deep into Russian territory with Western weapons is playing with fire and could result in dangerous consequences.
