Egypt Daily News – The Press Office of US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that the United States has arrested 538 “irregular immigrants”, noting that the United States is in the process of deporting “hundreds of irregular migrants.”

A spokeswoman for US President Karoline Leavitt, in a post on the “X” platform, late Thursday, said that “the Trump administration stopped 538 irregular criminals,” adding that “hundreds” had been deported in military aircraft.

She added that “the largest deportation in history is underway. I have been brought up and fulfilled.”

Trump had promised to launch a strict campaign of irregular migration during his election campaign, and began his second term with a series of executive decisions aimed at reforming the entry process to the United States.

In this context, he signed decisions to declare a “national emergency” at the southern border, and announced the deployment of more forces in the region, pledged to deport “foreigners criminals.”

Early Thursday, Newark Governor Russ J. Baraka said in a statement that members of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency “raided a local building… and arrested undocumented residents in addition to citizens, without presenting an arrest warrant.”

Earlier this week, the Republican-controlled Congress approved a bill to expand the pretrial detention period for foreign suspects. In northern Mexico is being built to build about ten shelters on the border with the United States, in anticipation of a deportation of Mexicans previously announced by the new US President Donald Trump.

The construction of two reception centers is scheduled for Friday morning, that “the other centers are completely ready by the weekend,” said Mexican President Claudia Shinbom, without giving any other details about its total absorptive capacity.

On the border of 3100 km between Mexico and the United States, a France Presse correspondent reported that work is underway to build a center in Matamoros (northeast) on the border with Texas, where tents were also installed to house military.
