Egypt Daily News – Death has taken the life of Egyptian actor Soliman Eid on the morning of Friday, at the age of 64.
His funeral was held at the Islamic Complex Mosque in Sheikh Zayed, with a large number of fellow actors in attendance.
The late actor suffered a heart attack that led to his hospitalization, but he passed away shortly afterward.
Through a post on Facebook, his son Abdel Rahman Soliman announced that the funeral prayer for his father would take place after Friday prayers at the Islamic Complex Mosque in Sheikh Zayed.
Soliman Eid was born on October 17, 1961, and began his artistic career in the late 1980s.
His role in the 1992 film Al Irhab wal Kebab, starring Adel Imam, marked the beginning of many subsequent roles.
He went on to appear in films such as Toyor el Zalam, AL Nom Fil Asaa;, and Hammam Fi Amsterdam, as well as numerous television series. His body of work includes more than 150 performances across theater, cinema, and drama.
He was also active on social media, known for sharing humorous videos, especially on TikTok.

A close source to the actor said that Soliman Eid passed away due to a sudden heart attack at home a few hours before his death. He was taken to a hospital in Sheikh Zayed, but sadly did not survive.

His final appearance was in the film Seeko Seeko, which was released during the Eid al-Fitr movie season, alongside Essam Omar, Taha Desouky, and many other actors.
