Egypt Daily News – President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed that Egypt manages its affairs in a way that preserves itself and the region, without getting involved in matters that could affect security and stability.

President Sisi affirmed that Egypt is “well and will remain strong, as long as we are steadfast, united, and cohesive, bearing our responsibilities,” despite the tensions in the region.

The President, in a speech during the graduation ceremony of a new class from the Police Academy in Cairo, warned about the dangers of developments in the region that could affect the expansion of conflict, emphasizing that Egypt is a country that practices a policy characterized by balance and moderation.

President Sisi affirmed that the region and the world are going through extremely difficult circumstances, and Egypt is keen to maintain a balanced policy amid this serious turmoil, reiterating his warning that the continuation of this unrest will lead to dire consequences in the region, and possibly in the world.

He also emphasized the importance of pursuing a policy characterized by balance, moderation, and objectivity, which Egypt has adopted for years, according to him. This is particularly relevant in light of the current circumstances on the western and southern borders, as well as those occurring on the eastern Egyptian border.

President Sisi asked, “Does what is happening make the Egyptian people anxious?” In response, “Without a doubt, we must feel concerned because the developments taking place are serious and could lead to an expansion of the conflict in the region in a way that affects stability.”

He added: “I want to assure you that Egypt is fine and things are stable, moving from good to better…” “As long as we remain steadfast, stable, cohesive, and responsible, united as one and assured that we are managing our affairs in a way that preserves our country and the region as much as possible, without getting involved in matters that could affect security and stability in the region and in Egypt.”
