Egypt Daily News – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reiterated his country’s rejection of any negotiations regarding the war without Ukraine’s direct involvement. He emphasized that Ukraine will not recognize any agreements made without its participation.
This statement comes ahead of his official visit to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, which has been planned for some time and will include a meeting with the UAE president to discuss economic cooperation and humanitarian issues. Zelenskyy is accompanied by his wife during this visit, as announced by his spokesperson, Serhiy Nikiforov.
The visit comes just ahead of anticipated talks in Riyadh between Russian and American officials, where Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with U.S. officials to discuss efforts aimed at improving relations between Moscow and Washington, according to the Kremlin.
Zelenskyy had announced his trip last week, but without specifying the exact dates, and confirmed that he would not be meeting with any Russian or American officials during his visit.
