Egypt Daily News – “The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt extends its warmest greetings to Egyptian citizens present and residing in Lebanon. To facilitate the return of citizens wishing to return to their homeland in light of the current security developments in Lebanon, the embassy has urged Egyptian citizens who do not possess a valid Egyptian passport (due to loss of the passport or its expiration) to promptly head to the embassy to work on obtaining a travel document.”

The embassy requested the official Egyptian documents proving his Egyptian nationality and bearing his personal photo (original or copy of the expired passport, or copy of the lost passport, or national ID card, or military service completion certificate, or Egyptian driver’s license, or work permit issued by the Egyptian authorities), along with a personal photo.

The Egyptian Embassy in Lebanon confirmed that applications from citizens wishing to obtain travel documents will be received during working days from 12 PM to 3 PM.
